• 2020 Jeep Gladiator Pickup Truck pictures leak

You likely knew Jeep was going to do a pickup truck version of the Wrangler. Well, they are calling it the Gladiator and it officially debuts later this month at the Los Angeles International Auto Show.

A few pictures leaked onto the internet early and the truck looks exactly as you would expect a Wrangler turned into a pickup to look.

Is there anything special about it? Yes, it should be unstoppable off-road with Dana 44 axles, front and rear locking differentials, an electronically disconnecting sway bar, and 33 inch off-road tires.

Under the hood a 3.6 liter V8 or a 3.0 liter diesel V6 will be the options but would it kill FCA to offer a Hemi V8?

Expect official details when it officially debuts in a couple weeks.

I saw one of these in camo out on Loveland pass a few weeks ago... It was pretty basic camo as I could tell what it was right away without even knowing this was in the works, but it was a pretty 'meh' car so I didn't bother getting the camera out.

This could be interesting but the motor choices are pretty boring.

The Ecoboost Ranger will probably dominate it.

I think the article means 3.6L V6 not V8 as the pentastar motor is a V6

It's basically a Jeep scrambler resurrection... kinda cool, but might as well go with a 4-door JKU wrangler

but if a diehard jeep guy just has to have a pickup then I get it..... my buddy had a jeep comanche when i was in high school and it was kinda cool cuz no one else had that pickup, while toyota tacoma's were a dime a dozen back then

i would much rather see jeep bring the jeep crew chief concept to market though as its pretty badass
