    • Tesla Model 3 drag races a W213 Mercedes-AMG E63 S and Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8

This is hardly a perfect drag race as the cars are not segment matches for each other. You would want the Tesla Model S to go against the E63 S and the Tesla Model X to go up against the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 (and even better the Trackhawk).

Not being perfectly segmented is what makes this interesting as you never know what you might run into at a stoplight and the Tesla Model 3 is a popular car due to its entry level positioning in the Tesla lineup.

So how does the Model 3 do? Fairly well.

Only elapsed times are given but the E63 is first with an 11.61. The Model 3 follows with an 11.79 which is quite close. The Jeep trails with a 12.78 pass.

The E63 S should be a little quicker and maybe it did not get the best launch but it is definitely the fastest of the trio and in a roll race would easily win. Do not sleep on the Model 3 at a stoplight though.

Model 3 performance is very impressive, very close to the legendary E63S.

The Model 3 is also more track focused than previous models so I wonder how it does against the E63S there, on a short track it might be very close.
