    • Hellcat supercharged V8 fits Jeep Wrangler 'like a glove' but will not be prouced

How cool would a Hellcat powered Jeep Wrangler be? The good news, it fits. It fits 'like a glove' according to Jeep. The even better news is that Jeep themselves produced several Wranglers with Hellcat motors under the hood for various shows.

The problem? Crash testing. The engine takes up so much space there is not any room for anything else. That means no crumple zone and essentially the engine coming at you in a head on crash.

So what? If people do not mind the safety risk, let them do it. Insurance companies of course would yell and scream while at the same time allowing you to ride a motorcycle so the hypocrisy is astounding.

The good news is plenty of aftermarket companies will do this swap into your Wrangler. It just is not quite the same as buying it from the factory.
