Big vs. really big turbocharger size comparison - Precision PT118 vs. Garrett GTX3582R

This picture caught our attention as it highlights just how massive the Precision PT118 is. Yes, the 118 in the name tells you the 118mm inducer size. The Garrett GTX3582R by comparison has a 66mm inducer good for up to 850 horsepower.

The Precision PT118 is good for 2800+ horsepower and that is why you see it paired to a giant Hemi V8 in the #wasabisupra .

Garrett just released a turbo rated at 2850HP with 13 less mm on the inducer meaning more power from a smaller wheel most likely due to being more efficient... Garrett FTW

    Impressive.

The GTX3582R itself is highly regarded.
